NBA Playoffs – Chicago Bulls V Philadelphia 76ers – 1 May 2012
- Updated: May 1, 2012
The Chicago Bulls came off with a 12 point win over the Philadelphia 76ers in their opening game of the playoffs. Game 2 is again played in Chicago however the Bulls will have to compete without Derrick Rose who has been ruled out for the rest of the season after he tore his ACL in the closing minutes of the first game.
The question to be asked is how good are the Bulls without their MVP?
The answer, good.
To put it into perspective, Derrick Rose missed out on almost half the Bulls games in the regular season however Chicago were still able to finish on top of the NBA ladder. Chicago still have a roster full of great talent and not to mention the best defence in the league, and will prove to be too good again for a 76ers team who fared poorly towards the end of the season.
The Chicago Bulls are the SportChalk free sports betting pick for today and are priced quite handsomely at $1.40 to beat the Philadelphia 76ers at $3.50.
The Bulls will look to make a strong showing and prove they are still NBA championship contenders even without Rose in the squad.
The betting results of the 2012 NBA season have been great for SportChalk readers with a success ratio of 82% winners (32 from 39 in the regular season).
